About the mmode Accelerator Program: In growth mode

Launched in 2018, this first accelerator dedicated exclusively to the fashion industry aims to propel the growth of high-potential Quebec companies operating within our sector. Leveraging the expertise of its rich ecosystem and unparalleled network bringing together all industry players, mmode offers this highly customized program focused on the specific needs and development of participating entrepreneurs.

In 2024, the program was redesigned to meet the crucial need for professional training among managers in the fashion and apparel sector. Renamed "En Mode Croissance - Compétences", this new program focuses on the development of work team management skills, while integrating the new realities and challenges of the job market faced by today's managers and companies.

How it works

En Mode Croissance - Compétences aims to transform managers into effective and inspiring leaders, capable of motivating their teams and cultivating a positive work environment. This training program offers managers the opportunity to explore these three major themes in depth:

  1. The leader that I am
  • Learn and discover your own leadership/management style and that of others, to better interact with them.
  • Learn how to deploy your energy and manage stress more effectively, to increase your impact on others and yourself.
  • Develop the key skills of a manager in a VICA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world.
  1. Strategy and tools for management excellence
  • Understand the basics of strategy, how they translate into day-to-day decisions and why they are crucial to a team's success.
  • Integrate practical tools to translate the organization's vision and objectives into concrete actions.
  • Deepen the use of relevant HR tools and other strategic instruments for personnel management.
  1. Building a high-performance, caring culture
  • How to communicate, influence and act as a leader/manager to align your team and colleagues towards the achievement of your organization's objectives.
  • How to nurture a caring, high-performance culture.
  • Understand the best strategic and operational execution techniques to boost your team's performance.

At the same time, managers benefit from individual coaching sessions designed to meet their specific needs. This personalized approach strengthens their leadership skills while supporting their professional development.

Stimulate interest in training and encourage managers to commit themselves to continuing education for their professional development;

Encourage learning by sharing best practices between peers by creating a collaborative and inspiring learning environment;

Develop team management and human resources skills;

Understand and integrate the issues related to the green transition;

Promote creativity and innovation by encouraging managers to adopt an innovative approach in managing their business;

Raise awareness about the importance of diversity and inclusion to create inclusive and respectful environments.
